Phone number | WhatsApp API<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s important to clarify that when you activate a number on the Spoki platform, you’re essentially creating a new WhatsApp account through the official APIs<\/strong>. As with any WhatsApp service, each phone number can only be associated with one account at a time, and vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, it’s not possible to use the same number for two accounts simultaneously<\/strong> – neither for your personal\/business WhatsApp account and the Spoki platform at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What happens when you activate a number on Spoki?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To associate the number with the Spoki platform through WhatsApp API, you must first manually delete the existing WhatsApp account<\/strong> (simply uninstalling the app is not sufficient). This step is necessary because WhatsApp allows only one active account per phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you wish to use a number already active on WhatsApp Business with the Spoki platform, you can do so by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Delete the existing account<\/strong>: Access the WhatsApp Business app and go to Settings > Account > Delete account<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Proceed with activation<\/strong>: Once the account is deleted, you can associate the number with Spoki<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Consider the consequences<\/strong>: You will permanently lose all conversation history from the previous account<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
