In this guide, we will explore the three main methods available for uploading a contact list to Spoki. Whether you are starting with an empty list, importing contacts via a CSV file, or creating a custom list using advanced search, this guide will provide you with all the information you need to complete these tasks easily and effectively.
1. Creating an Empty List #
The first method involves creating a completely empty contact list, which you can then populate manually. To do this, simply select the “Empty List” option from the list management panel within Spoki.
2. Importing Contacts from a CSV File #
The second method allows you to import contacts from a CSV file. Here’s how:
- Download the sample file provided by Spoki to understand how to structure your CSV file.
- Prepare your CSV file with the contacts you want to upload, ensuring you follow the correct format as shown in the sample file.
- Upload the CSV file to Spoki. The system will allow you to map the fields from your CSV file to Spoki’s contact fields through a matching process.
- Review the total number of contacts that will be imported and choose whether to limit the number of contacts to be included in the final list. For example, if your CSV contains three contacts, you can choose to upload only two.
- Automatic list generation: If you choose to upload a selection of contacts, Spoki will automatically create a new list with your selected contacts.
3. Creating a List via Advanced Search #
The third method involves using Spoki’s advanced search functionality to create a custom list from existing contacts in the system. In this case, you can select one or more criteria (such as language, location, or other attributes) that the contacts must meet.
- Select your desired search criteria. For example, if you want to create a list of English-speaking contacts, simply select “Language: English” in the search panel.
- Proceed to list creation: Spoki will select all contacts matching your criteria and allow you to easily transfer them into a new list.
- Save the list: Once the process is complete, your new contact list will be available among the saved lists within the platform.
4. Integration with CRMs and Marketing Tools #
If you are using a CRM or another marketing tool, it is possible to integrate Spoki with those systems to directly import contacts from your external platforms. This integration helps save time and simplifies your list management process.
