This section stores all phone numbers of users with whom Spoki interacts. Contacts can be acquired through integrations with external tools (such as ActiveCampaign, Zapier, etc.) or imported directly from a CSV file.
Importing contacts from a CSV file #
To correctly import contacts from a CSV file, follow these steps:
- Preparing dynamic fields
- Create Dynamic Fields using the same name as the columns in the CSV file.
- This step is not required for standard fields such as Phone, First Name, Last Name, and Email.
- Activate the dynamic field by switching it to ON (refer to the Dynamic Fields section).
- Uploading the CSV file
- Go to Lists > New > Create list from CSV.
- Upload the previously prepared CSV file.
With this process, in addition to basic information (First Name, Last Name, Phone), you can also import other custom dynamic fields, such as birthday date or booking date.
Managing and editing contacts #
From the Contacts menu, click on a contact’s name to view and edit all related information. In the right-hand panel, you can:
- Add or remove tags.
- Add or remove the contact from a list.
- Manually edit the contact’s associated information.
After making any changes, always click Save (at the bottom).
Blocking a contact #
To block a contact:
- Click the Block button located at the bottom of the contact’s panel.
- All blocked contacts can be viewed by selecting the Only blocked contacts filter in the Contacts menu.
Quick access to the contact’s chat #
From the contact’s panel, you can quickly access the conversation with the user by clicking Go to chat, which will display all exchanged messages.
Contact filters #
You can filter contacts based on various criteria such as tags, lists, and other categories. Each filter will display only the contacts belonging to the selected category.
Importing and exporting contacts #
From the top menu (three-dot icon), you can access the Import and Export functions.
